When it’s time to pick your major, and you are stuck, what to choose? Some people pick their major based on what they believe will get them the job they want, some follow their passion, and some look for anything that guarantees some sort of ‘job’, usually ones that are in demand. But are those wise ways to pick a major? Many have said that their university degree means nothing, except to learn how to learn. But the actual content is not important. However some disagree. What you learn at school and what you use at work sometimes may differ. The important thing is to be able to pick things up quickly, which is a skill we may not all possess. So when it’s time to pick your major, don’t stress. Do what you feel you would enjoy, and what you are good at.
